    Referral program documentation

Learn how referral codes are linked, how qualifying activity is attributed, and how referral rewards are reviewed and processed.

    How referral attribution works

A referral relationship begins when a valid referral code is captured through the supported WStaking referral flow and then linked to the correct wallet through a signed request.

Attribution becomes effective only after the binding is recorded. Activity completed before binding may not qualify. A wallet can be linked to only one referrer; after the first relationship is recorded, it cannot normally be replaced or transferred.

The system rejects invalid codes and self-referral. Corrections may be considered only where WStaking records show a technical or attribution error.

    Eligibility and user responsibilities

Referral eligibility depends on the current program rules and activity recorded by WStaking. A referral record does not automatically guarantee a reward.

    • Use the referral code through the WStaking application.
    • Confirm the correct wallet is connected before binding the code or completing qualifying activity.
    • Do not use your own code or create duplicate, circular, or misleading referral relationships.
    • Confirm that the referred activity meets the current eligibility requirements.
    • Review the referral status and recorded wallet information before requesting support.
    • Do not rely on referral rates, screenshots, or promises from unofficial channels.

    Review and payout process

After a supported staking transaction is confirmed, WStaking can record the related referral activity and update the applicable referral records. Additional activity may depend on the network, position, and program rules.

Referral rewards are calculated and recorded through the referral system. An approval confirms that a claim record passed review; it does not mean payment has already completed.

After approval, an eligible payout may enter processing. Some payouts require administrative handling. A payout should be treated as confirmed only when the applicable payout record and transaction evidence are available.

    Referral status meanings

The referral interface can show the following user-facing states:

    • Pending: the claim or referral record is awaiting review or payment processing.
    • Approved: the claim passed review and may proceed to payout processing; approval is not confirmation of payment.
    • Rejected: the record did not meet the applicable rules or could not be verified.
    • Confirmed: a payout record is available and the payout has been confirmed with the applicable payment evidence.
    • A backend sent state records a payout action, but it should not be treated as confirmed settlement without the relevant transaction evidence.

    Missing or disputed referrals

If a referral does not appear, first confirm the wallet, referral code, network, and successful completion of the qualifying activity.

When contacting support, provide the wallet address, referral code, relevant network, staking or transaction hash where applicable, approximate date and time, and a status screenshot if useful.

Support can review records available to WStaking, but it may not be possible to add or change attribution after qualifying activity has occurred. Do not provide a seed phrase, private key, recovery phrase, wallet password, or authentication secret.

    Privacy and account safety

Referral records may include wallet addresses, referral identifiers, activity records, reward amounts, and payout-status information needed to operate the program.

Share referral links only through channels you control and verify the destination domain before connecting a wallet. A referral link should never request a seed phrase, private key, recovery phrase, or direct transfer to an unknown wallet.
